If you’re already weighing and managing animals, this is a way to get paid for what you’re already doing.

You’ll use the Cattle Worth™ app to submit images and real weights from cattle you’re already handling.

How it works

  • Use the app to capture a clear image of your animal. Make sure the full body is visible and the photo is easy to see.

  • Use a verified scale weight to confirm or adjust the app-estimated weight. This is what makes your submission count.

  • Enter the verified weight and submit through the app. Each submission is reviewed before approval.

  • Earn $5 for every approved image. Payments are issued monthly based on approved entries. 

The same animal can be submitted again after 5 days with a new weight.

The top participant earns a $500 scholarship to be awarded at the National Junior Angus Show in July. Submissions are reviewed before approval and payment.

Eligibility

Open to junior participants (typically ages 8–21) involved in Angus cattle.

  • Open to Angus junior stockmen and women

  • Must be actively involved in working or showing cattle

  • Participants under 18 must have parent or guardian approval

  • Access to cattle and a scale is required
